Former UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit put on a ferocious display of mixed martial arts Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 67, breaking Thiago Alves' nose so badly it will likely require surgery. It was the 28th finish of Condit's 30 wins.

"I didn't exactly know what happened, but I felt (his nose break) on my elbow," said Condit post fight, as transcribed by Shaun Al-Shatti for MMAFighting.com. "I knew that he was hurt. I hurt him with the first rising elbow, then hurt him with the spinning back elbow. I could just feel the fight drained out of him after I hit him that first time.
"I think that my performance speaks for itself. I came out and I got the finish against Thiago Alves, who's one of the top strikers in the division."
"I want whoever has the title in a couple months. Whether it's Rory or whether it's Robbie Lawler, I want that guy."
UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler fights Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 on July 11, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
