Great win for Brad "One Punch" Pickett last night over Ivan Menjivar.
Once again, in typical "One Punch" style, Pickett left it all in the cage. Brad and Ivan put on a heck of a fight for the fans and both deserve a lot of praise for their performance. We knew going in this would be a tough test for Brad, as we have tremendous respect for Ivan and his skill set. Credit to Brad, as he was able to come on strong and earn the unanimous decision in the end. I don't think Brad knows how to have a boring fight. Congrats to our favorite UK fighter.
Also fighting for ATT was Ken Stone, who made his WEC debut and took on former WEC champ Eddie Wineland. Unfortunately for Ken, the outcome wasn't what we had game planned for. Tough first fight for Ken. We hope to see him back in there where he will be able to showcase his skill set next time out.
American Top Team
Sets up Pickett's transition to the UFC well. It would have been good to have him on the main card, but the bill was stacked. Top fight, and I knew it would be. Well done Brad!
