I don't doubt they're tough, just wondering how they trained BJJ, wrestling and MMA reaching a purple belt in a year. How many nights a week do they train gi?
The Miller brothers are legit pruple belts, they have their ranking in no-gi BJJ under Royce Gracie black belt Rob Kahn.
I rolled with Jim and Dan right before their first fights in November. I had been a purple belt for well over a year at that point and they had just been given their blue belts.
Dan swept, mounted, and nearly tapped me twice and Jim was dominating me positionally. I eventually was able to get a leg lock on them, mainly because I don't think they had seen much of them in training just yet.
I felt like shit afterwards. I usually have no problem with purple belts and here were two brand new blue belts giving me all I could handle.
Now that they're wrecking everyone put in front of them I don't feel so bad. I'm sure the next time we roll I'll be tapping more than a few times.
