I bet if he won the fights he did, but did NOT act like a douche, he would have still gotten the title shot. He certainly would have gotten the rematch based on what he did in the first one. Whether he means any of the idiotic crap he spews or not, I don't think he or MMA needs it. I know I don't need it for me to be entertained.
