Congratulations to Richard Carwin from ROOTS Bondi on receiving his blue belt (following the usual initiation from Paulo last night). Rich put in an awesome performance at the Pan-Pacs on the weekend (Winning a Gold and a Silver) and has dominated his division all year in the NSW circuit.

I don't know Richard but I fought him at this year's Pan Pac's. He was quick, had very good side control and also physically strong - a sound combo for BJJ.
Congrats on the Blue belt, certainly made me feel a bit better about my loss.
