I don’t know where McGregor fanboys get this idea he is humble in defeat. He is not.
Every time he loses, he gives 30 seconds of props right after the fight, then he starts trotting out the excuses. First just one or two. As the weeks and months go by, more and more excuses and rationalizations.
He changes the narrative bit by bit, until eventually he has a laundry list of reasons why his opponent actually didn’t do shit, and he did amazing, and the only reason he lost is because of a twist of fate that will never happen again.

Conor had a ruined knee against Mendes. His coach was trying to talk him out of that fight. Conor still took it. But you can at least still walk on a bad knee. A foot is everything. I'm glad this finally came out. Duke Rufus said he "heard" Conor had busted ribs. No, it was always MUCH WORSE. Conor badly SHATTERED HIS FOOT. It is a fucking miracle Conor was able to still perform the way he did. That's why I kept saying "if only more people knew the truth." This Is why I'm so confident in Conor in a rematch. Btw, Conor also had staph from an infected knuckle, barely trained for the fight, and took Khabib as lightly as possible. I was not ever kidding when I said that Conor wasn't even at 10% against Khabib physically and mentally. Literally everything that could've went wrong, went wrong. But Conor still showed up like a warrior, still tried to win, and still dominated a round off Khabib. But I can tell you for a fact right now that Conor is now taking Khabob very very seriously. I will guarantee you everything that the rematch WILL be a completely different fight. Khabib got his lucky 15 minutes of fame off a 10% Conor. If Conor at 10% can win a round off a 100% Khabib, just imagine. A 100% Conor is going to make a complete mockery of Khabib.

Ive known about this for a very very long time.. and everyone in the industry knew Conor had 1 of the worst camps of his life for Khabib. This is most likely what Florian and Ankin were talking about...unless they were talking about the death threats Conor was getting from Khabib's insane psychopathic muslim fans....but just physically Conor was very compromised
