It strikes me that Conor is fighting his heroes, he always looked up to Floyd and modelled part of his persona on him and part of his fighting style and persona on the Diaz brothers.
Correct, he's now planning on fighting Super Mario.
floyd was faar from a hero, he was one of the guys he looked at for his technique. Floyd is nobodies hero, only black supremacists and woman beaters.
It was fun seeing conor beat on floyd in boxing though, if he had any cardio or mroe experience in the ring he wouldve finished him it seems.
Especially if they had a fair ref that didnt stop conor from finishing floyd several times. watch from 6:40+

Floyd wasn't getting stopped. At that point or any other. Conor hit him in the hip, Floyd limped back and covered up in the corner. Conor came in with a couple of sloppy punches, then put his arm over Floyd's back and tried to throw another sloppy punch while holding. Byrd breaks them up. Floyd comes out of the corner shaking his legs, because he was hit in the hip.
Floyd was never getting stopped in that fight.
