I’m not a hater, I recognize McGregor is a fantastic fighter, but I think this does almost nothing for his legacy.
Conor getting the greats paid... Usman dont deserve it. :)

With Ali having a lot of control in Conor’s divisions this could be a brilliant strategy by Conor. If Ali wants to pick and choose who will fight Conor, Conor can just decide to never let Ali and his athletes get the payday.Â

Keep adding names to his resume and making bank while doing it… he’ll always be the first 2 division champ so I don’t know if decorative belts are even a big deal to him anymore if he can find easier ways to keep his stock up and get paid. he has no chance to win the title at 55 or 70…
he is much better off picking on an old washed up fighter that has one "win" in a decade…
then he can take another 2 years to find someone he might be able to compete with for another exhibition fight…
