He’s always been the same.
The difference is that the novelty has worn off and he was winning before.

In the latest embedded he has one guy fetch his bicycle for him and another bring him his airpods for his ride. Lazy arrogant pos
Nah that’s a silly thing to say from someone who likely always hated Conor. His earlier press conferences were awesome. He had some witty ass lines that were off the cuff. His confidence and self belief was real,he really got inside peoples head and put on a show. This is different, it felt sad…. It felt like it was over. His rise to the top was more exciting than any other fighter I can think of, anyone who denies that is just hating but it appears his time is up. We will see come fight time
Conor’s been done for years. I just tune in to watch him get beat up now. Don’t need to hear him talk. And he’s always been fake, but back when he was good he seemed legitimately crazy enough to truly believe his own bs. Now it’s just sad.
this
The Floyd Mayweather fight was the worst thing to happen to him. He got super rich and now has no reason to ever fight mma again
Dustin had some funny remarks. I agree it seems a lil canned and staged but it’s not for the real fans, it’s for the people on the peripherals to jump in and check it out. Let em ham it up.
cmon cheddar you can do beddar
Connor needs to sell tix because he gets a percentage of the gate and buys. He does what Dana tells him to do for promotion. Conor is mature now but had to play heel yesterday at the behest of his boss. Yes it is sad to see and I’m not sure why he even took this fight if he is truly a millionaire like you guys think he is.
So… you were more interested in the cerrone fight than this one?
He must truly believe he can beat Dustin like he did many many years ago.
Tony Ferguson would be a better fight for him or Diaz trilogy. Gaethje would be interesting too as he likes to bang and is hittable.
Agreed. “Who da fook is dis guy” would have gone unnoticed if said by an American in an American accent.
People really do love the Irish… well except for the English.
I would not agree. Otherwise he would not be fighting. He loves the spotlight.
The problem is that his style was based on youth. Being quick and springy. Can’t be like that in your 30s. Also his cardio is terrible and everybody knows that and in addition to that everybody found out that the moment things are not going his way, he quits.
This decline would’ve happened regardless.
He was bad in that press conference. Barely funny or entertaining. He has been off for quite a while. But he is still dangerous AF. Dustin KOed him clean, no luck nor fluke, but he got tagged too and this fight could have gone either way.
The line between winning and losing is always slim, and Conor has lost some feathers. Yet he’s still a force. If he loses, he’s kind of done though, his “aura” will be shot. He was wise to leave open the Nate Diaz bout as it might be his only option left if he loses.
If he wins, he’s still in the title picture. He really is an all or nothing guy.
Naw… he will just disappear for 12-18 months and then leak pictures of himself all pumped up in the gym and say “The fire is back, I had lost it in those latter years, but it’s back now.” and all his fanboys will cream their pants and buy into the hype.
It’s over now? The guy has won one fight in the last 5 years against an over the hill Cerrone. It’s been over for a while. The only reason he gets mentioned anymore is his big fucking mouth and the casuals who eat it up like candy when taking a break from eating cheetos and watching the WWE.
Yeah his most witty comeback ever is “who the fuck is this guy”? Wowz genius stuff.
He was also exclusively fighting 145’ers as well. Once he stopped the big weight cut his power stopped being as big of a deal.
Dustin looked lost and it was only Thursday. He’s getting slept. Conor was crisp and focused
Lol, he looked like he was back on the sauce and spazzed out.
