CaptainWoody -KnockoutThoughts - JThomasufc91 -Khabib fought number 11 Al for the belt. What are you talking about pampers? Like bring a guy in like Darrel Horcher who's never even fought in the UFC? Lol.
Who has ConMan fought at 155lb on his way to a belt? We're still waiting 5 years later. He has 0 fights at 155lb that weren't "free titleshots". He has climbed the division 0 times, he has 0 fights against top contenders at 155lb. He is basically a glorified stat padding hoax. A fake fraud of a contender in the division. A fighter being held in the rankings for a reason NO ONE can explain. Why is Conor McGregor ranked at 155lb 4 years later? Who has the man beat in those 4 years to be ranked at 155lb? Does ANYONE have an answer? Hello? Because Eddie Alvarez held the belt for a weekend, and he's been getting his ass kicked since leaving the UFC. His name doesn't carry much weight, especially not enough to keep you ranked for 4 years! Lol.. the entire premise of Conor McGregor is the biggest lie the sport has ever told. When you really sit back and analyze why this guy matters you realize it's a farce. A bunch of hype, like wrapping a present in a bunch of Christmas paper, only to find out the present you thought was inside doesn't exist. Conor is a farce. His entire name was built against midgets, and he's been an absentee fighter ever since. We keep hearing about one hitter quitter power, but he hasn't slept ANYONE at 155lb on the roster. He hasn't even fought Micheal Johnson, Charles Oliveira, or Leonardo Santos. These are the bottom names at the top of the division, we're talking 3rd string guys, and we don't even know if Conor can beat them because the UFC doesn't have confidence in the guy they parade around as a "2x Champ". It's a joke! They know what would happen to him if they actually made him climb 155lb! lol Those 155lbers are filthy savages.. that leprechaun would get chewed up and spit out like yesterday's leftovers. He's being protected as we speak. Fighting a broken fighter, a guy coming off two stoppage losses. Cerrone got finished in his last 2, and that's the guy this coward chose to fight next. Ask yourself what you think his motives were? Ask yourself what compelled Dana to think this was a good match? A losing fighter in Cerrone, and special treatment allows him to get a title shot at 155lb with a win at 170lb. What the fuck? How the fuck does that make sense to you guys? Jumping over ppl like Justin Gaethje who've had to sweat and lose in the division and climb back up, but Mr. Happy Left Nut McFraud gets to just dive into ANOTHER title shot like he's sliding into home base? Dana pinch batting for this fraud to put him instantly on 3rd? C'mon man.. this shit isn't right at all. It's a damn shame no one has the balls in the media to call it what it is... ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT! McFraud should have stayed retired. His favoritism is bad for the sport of MMA. It's bad for the fighters who get robbed of legacy waiting for him to run out of free chances at some kind of stat on paper that ultimately will be meaningless when it's sealed with an asterisk. It's the biggest CON the sport has ever produced. The lie that is ConMan McFraud is Dana's greatest legacy. He created a Champ on paper, a lie on paper that he was able to sell for millions. Conor is nothing more than an IDEA. The IDEA is a man who achieved 2 belts, who worked and climbed 2 divisions to become a Champion, but those who witnessed it live will know the truth.. this guy has been gifted opportunities and shots at a title that no one before him was allowed to even pursue. 0 title defenses. Somehow was given the green light to chase 3 different belts, and will be at his 3rd attempt at 155lb alone, while some guys in the division who truly deserve it dream of making it there once. That's sad and unfair af.. that's my problem with this IDEA being pushed. He's not what they say he is. That's not a Champ. Never was, never will be. He's not the king of the division, he's just the guy who's had the most tries. The guy who won't pass the PlayStation remote, he wants 100 tries at the highscore. The word Champ stands for alot more than winning one convenient fight, defending used to be a quality that defined the strength of a Champion. McGregor ranks as one of the weakest of all time. He refused to compete when he could no longer CHOOSE who was up next. That's why defending the belt never appealed to him.
It wouldnāt matter who he beat or will beatā¦youāll find an excuse to hate and dismiss it.
Iāll take a āfanboyā over a pathetic jealous hater any day of the week.
The truth is, if you have any understanding of MMA or combat whatsoever, even the slightest bitā¦you can watch Conor and see that he is a great fighter, thereās no one on the UFC roster that would argue itā¦but here you are. Ask Nate Diaz if he thinks Conor is a bad ass and a fantastic fighter.
He beat Jose Aldo, slept him in 13 seconds. Aldo was considered the best in the worldā¦He was riding a 8 year, 18 fight win streak.
Alverez beat Gilbert Melendez, Pettis and RDAā¦3 fantastic fighters, to win UFC Gold. Conor made him look silly.
Mendes, Dustin, Maxā¦
When youāre pathetically hating like this, youāre dismissing and shitting on all of these great fighters in the process. It not only makes you look stupid and clueless as fuck, ā¦it shows your insecurity, this one guy can effect you so much. Dana White has routinely called out fighters that were offered a fight or fights and refused themā¦he just did it to Gaethje. He has always maintained that Conor has never refused a fight offered. We can look at the Mendes fight as evidence, someone drastically different than the person he was scheduled to faceā¦we can look at the Diaz fight as evidence. You do not have ANY evidence to your claimā¦all you have is blind hate and rage and made up narratives from your tiny brain. Itās very sad, I wonder how people get to be the way you are?
Agreed. But itās hard to reason with people who are so blinded by emotion.
Took Max Holloway on as a replacement fight, won despite ACL injury.
Took Brandao on as a replacement fight.
Faced Mendes as a late replacement fight.
Faced Diaz as a late replacement fight (after wanting RDA, the scariest LW at that time).
Wanted one of the greatest boxers of all time, in the boxerās own sport.
Took on Eddie, his ākryptoniteā at the time.
Wanted Khabib (the scariest LW ever) and wants it again.
Heās consistently proven he will fight absolutely anyone, is scared of no one, and will duck no one.
And yet people still act like heās hand picked his opponents, or has only achieved what he has through favourable matchups by the UFC.
I donāt agree with a lot of his antics outside the ring, but I do feel heās turned a corner that many athletes with less mental strength have been unable to navigate. Acting like he isnāt a great fighter is just lying to yourself, and shows absolutely no worthy insight relating to the sport at all.
