OP,
I think you are right on the money.

I think you are right on the money.
Thanks mang, I think so too!
I think for Conor fans it's hard to admit because everyone has put him on a pedestal, but he's just a human being.
The pressure he's dealing with has to be absolutely nuts. You can't expect him to behave normally.
I think Diaz will end up the most disappointed because he won't get the payday from the rematch, and he'll have to
sit on the shelf.
No way Dana is happy with Diaz beating Conor, then refusing to fight a replacement.
It's a great editorial but there is a flaw. Conor was the one pushing for this rematch. He could easily have taken a deserved rematch against Aldo. His Nate loss wasn't a humiliating destruction like what Ronda faced. He got in a lot of good punches and it was a great fight. He also has the out that he was fighting two weight classes up as champion. No one does that. So while he let his mouth get ahead of his abilities, he didn't lose as much losing to Nate as say Ronda losing in that manner to Holly.
But your ideas about pressure were spot on. Just that there was absolutely no reason for Connor to put himself in that position to get pressured. He chose it himself.
When there's a dispute about a contract it always is about money.
Still no reason to change my opinion.
Conor and Diaz at 202
So your logic is wrong unless you think Conor pulls out of the fight.
