Irish people emigrated to the colonies, the new world, a lot of soldiers in your American revolution were Irish. Irish people that emigrated contributed to the society’s they joined in many ways. We integrated.
The welfare sponging economic refugees who don’t want to integrate, disregard the laws, beliefs and culture have no respect for the countries they go to are not the same type of immigrant.

I have no time for McGregor at all, he was on the dole at one stage of his life alright, like a lot of people from Dublin when our government failed us and the bubble burst, the Irish tax payer had to bail out banks and insurance companies, we had to pay for the mistakes of cunts like varadkar and we are doing it again.
People like Quinn and Dunne paid off politicians and made out like bandits while nearly bankrupting the nation.
What he is saying here is right, there has to be proper systems in place to stop importing scumbags, not all immigrants fall into that bracket but we are letting in the dregs along side good people.

I think they’ve always supported Palestine, when I was over there I asked a local why after seeing "we stand with Palestine’ murals and he said it’s because of what the English did to Ireland and said it’s the same as to what is happening to Palestine.
I’m sure there are other reasons too like religious affiliations re Catholics vs Protestants and stuff going back to Henry the 8th. splitting from the Roman church.

Not really finding the irony of an Irish person in Ireland complaining about immigration. Maybe if he or his family had immigrated to Ireland or if he immigrated to some other country and complained about immigration.
