CONOR P4P #1. FACT

No one can deny Conor is P4P #1 any longer.

A top wrestler was not able to keep him down.

His striking is light years ahead of anyone else in the UFC.

Who can beat him at 145 or 155? No one. If he put some weight on he would easily dominate 170 as well.

How does he taste?

Robbie Lawler >> Conor McGregor Phone Post 3.0

I'm a huge fan of his but let's not get carried away. He would beat a lot of guys at 155 but 170 the whole top 10 beats him imo. I want to see Pettis vs Conor Phone Post 3.0

Go to bed mate, you're drunk. Phone Post 3.0

Will be interesting to see where he lands on the P4P list. I would guess right ahead of Dillashaw. Phone Post 3.0

He was losing 2 rds before the finish... But yea goat. Why not. Phone Post 3.0

Yeah he needs to do some bjj classes to be goat mma Phone Post 3.0

Yep.. Fuck it! I say we just award him the interim belts in every division. Phone Post 3.0

btfos - Connor is without a doubt the pound for pound best striker in MMA and its not even close. No one is more skilled on the feet then Conor is.... If Connor can get his sprawl and bottom game up to the same level, then he will be untouchable to everyone at 145 and 155....people forget Connor is only 26..he still has a lot more to learn.. And the dude trains with GUNNAR freaking Nelson... Connors bottom game/grappling will get there to the same level eventually. Conor is too driven and dedicated
15ers gonna.. Aw never mind.. Going to bed. Phone Post 3.0

I'm a huge fan of Conor, but i don't think he is close to being #1 P4P.
Fighters considered in the #1 P4P conversation are usually guys who fight and beat guys bigger than them, like BJ and Frankie. Tonight we saw Conor get taken down and hit by someone who he had quite a size and reach advantage on. There is no doubt he has some legit skill, but his bottom game and TDD needs improving to stay on top.
If/when he moves up and competes at 155 and 170 and beats guys convincingly, then he could very well be the P4P best.

And yet Jones who was a natural HW beating MWs and over the hill fighters was pound for pound #1 so GTFO. IF Conor beats top guys at 155 and 170 then Conor is the all time GIAT, not just p4p#1.
I never said Jones is P4P #1?
He is the best at 205, but I have always wondered how he would do against the big guys at HW. He has a huge size and reach advantage at 205 Phone Post 3.0

^ like Conor does at 145 Phone Post 3.0

And natural heavyweight is more like it. And conor beating 155 and 170 is a "if" slow your roll Homie. Phone Post 3.0

^ He was probably referring to Vitor and Sonnen who went up in weight to fight him. Phone Post 3.0

Pleased he proved he probably deserves to be in the top ten but not #1 right now, because there's more work to be done Phone Post 3.0

When Aldo was 26 he was working on his 5th UFC title defense, had already stopped Mendes in the first round and beat Frankie Edgar among many others.
