This just makes too much sense. Conor vs Diego is a fight Conor has wanted and can get motivated for, and its a dream fight for the fans. What an awesome way for Diego to return to the UFC after dropping his abusive partner Fabia.
Now if Conor wins he has 2 highly competitive fights with Dustin and wins over Cowboy and Diego. I think he would have earned a title shot at that point.
This would be a big money fight the UFC wants. Whoever the paper champ is at that time would be thanking Conor for changing their life. And Conor could recover his former glory. I hope Dana is reading this and follows the plan.
