Conors kicking range = Nates punching range?

This is tough to tell until we see their stances etc, but if conor is at the end of Nates straight punches even when kicking, it could be a long night for him. Not only could he get cracked for his troubles, this is also the clinch initiation range, and Nates should have an advantage there as well as on the mat. Footwork will be more important than ever in this fight. Phone Post 3.0

Nate only has a 2" reach on Conor, and Conor doesn't stand right infront of you Phone Post 3.0

the volume pity patty punches of Nate

If Conor was getting tagged by Broseph Mendes and his t rex arms, it will be no problem for Nate. Phone Post 3.0

I'm a big Nate fan and I hope he does good, but do people still not understand that being able to threaten with a takedown greatly improves your striking in mma...? Phone Post 3.0

Diaz also has a 4 inch height advantage, that goes along with the reach advantage and only creates more distance Conor has to close to land a solid punch.

Givin the fact both of their styles focus on staying on the outside that could give Nate a significant advantage if he can find his range and start landing.

Conor could be in trouble if he is not prepared for Nates style, which is possible considering he only has 11 to gameplan for the unorthodox boxing of Diaz.

Who knows if it will even matter but their is potential for a competitive fight. Phone Post 3.0

Brosephatorus Rex is way faster than Nate though. I'm super pumped for this fight. So many ways it could go. Phone Post 3.0

Frankie Edgar shooting range >>> Conor's striking range Phone Post 3.0

This, plus mendes is explosive and can leap in and out of the pocket quickly. Plus conor probably wanted a slugfest with mendes. Against nate he will have to pick his shots and attack the body even more than he did against Mendes. I give Conor a slight edge, especially early, but Nate could tko him with the 209 1-2 volume, or he could submit him with the quickness. Nates best chance imo, besides a sub, is if he tries to survive the early game, esp if he tires him out against the fence first. Phone Post 3.0

Of course but the point is that Conor seems to get tagged in every fight. Even an unconscious Aldo landed a punch and cut him while falling...lol Phone Post 3.0

Conor is a great counter striker when we wants to be, head movement is good too. He will be fine Phone Post 3.0

Hes a good counter striker despite his poor head movement. He has brilliant footwork but his head movement is almost non existsnt.

Could look a bit like Machida // Jones. Connor moves in and out tagging but ultimately cant bridge the gap and land anything rwally effective Phone Post 3.0
