Calhoon -Ha ha!
You guys can’t be serious. Khabib would handle the MUCH SMALLER Mendez easily and Conor couldn’t beat RDA if his life depended on it.
I agree with your Mendes point. But RDA has nothing for Conor. He'd get lit up quick.

Alvarez destroyed RDA
RDA wouldn’t make it out of the first round with Conor

What are you talking about? That’s meaningless. RDA destroyed Nate Diaz so don’t try to use mmath. Bottom line if Conor ever fights RDA I’ll be betting on Dos.
Dreville79 -Let’s just take a minute to appreciate here, that Darrell Horcher is legitimately one of Khabibs top five wins. Not many look into early careers, but Khabibs is HEAVILY padded with absolute cans, we’re talking 0-6 cans here, people with ridiculous losing records
I’ve never known anyone as overrated as Khabib is. He could be the real deal, but he’s in no way proved he’s even a top five fighter yet, and somehow he’s champ! Barboza is a gimme fight for any semi decent wrestler, and Johnson badly rocked Khabib early.
I still think Conor KOs him very early, I hope I’m wrong and Khabib embarrasses him with lay and pray whilst whispering “who’s your daddy”
Did you look at Conor’s early wins and the scrubs he fought against?

Good response.
FatBuddha - Khabib's 26-0 is overhyped at the level we're talking about (i.e. best in the world). Until he consistently faces top 5 competition, he's an unknown quantity.CONOR’S TOP 5 WINS
Jose Aldo (champ at time) - KO 13 seconds
Eddie Alvarez (champ at time) - TKO 3:04 R2
Max Holloway (current champ) - unanimous decision
Dustin Poirier (currently ranked #3) - TKO 1:46 R1
Chad Mendes (ranked #3 at time) - TKO 2:47 R2
KHABIB’S TOP 5 WINS
Rafael dos Anjos - Decision
Michael Johnson - submission
Edson Barboza - decision
Al Iaquinta - decision
Darrell Horcher -TKO
I’m rooting for Conor but Khabib is a tougher fight than all top 5 of Conor’s wins. And the same goes for Khabib.
Khabib is so hittable, Conor will have an easy time locating that left straight. It’s gonna look easy

I agree… Its a point people are willfully ignoring. I don’t get that. It’s very relevant…
It’s also relevant that Max was not a “noob scrub” at that time. He has not lost a fight since losing to Conor.

Yes, clearly, Conor has better wins at this point but…lol at going all over the time frame to putting Max as current champ when he was like a 21 year old green noob without a proper camp when he fought Conor. Its still a legit win but lol.
Not to mention that is probably the logic why he left former champ off of Dos Anjos
Look at my post again Sherlock.
I did, still doesn’t say anything about Dos Anjos’ championship. It hypes Connor’s wins in a way that isn’t applied to Khabib’s
Conor only fought 1 155’er
Is that the point you’re trying to make?

I’m aware of them, and aware every record starts humbly. But because he’s comfortably beaten Aldo, Mendes, Poirier, Holloway, Siver, Brimage & Alvarez. I think we can determine he’s a world class fighter
Khabib has comfortably beaten Iaquinta, a semi decent RDA, and beat Johnson comfortably after being rocked early. We can’t even count Barboza, I love Edson but a decent high school wrestler would give him fits let alone Khabib
Quite what amongst that leads anyone to believe he’s this unbeatable machine is baffling.
Again, I might be wrong, he might be an unbeatable machine. But no one can accurately say that for sure yet
I don’t think people on the ug realize how overhyped khabib is. He hasn’t ever had a dominate performance on someone ranked high or a past champion.
He’s basically fought 23 bums and 3 gate keepers.
This fight is gonna be so easy for Connor your all gonna be surprised
They’re gonna fight next week, do their previous opponents really matter?

He’s actually like Conor at the time of the Aldo fight.
Both had one marquee win - RDA and Mendes.
We will see how good Khabib is.

Let’s not forget that Khabib had a very tough time with journeyman Gleison Tibau. Some think he lost that fight.
Let’s not forget Conor got strangled by journeyman Nate Diaz
