Anyone have inside or even second hand info on Sara's striking or sub avoidance evolution? Think she is a decent underdog bet and also think she will achieve top position...not sure about her dealing w/ Rhonda's improving striking or submission game.

I think her best chance is after rousey gets the takedown. Sara might be better on the mat if she doesn't give rousey dominant position. Sara might be able to use her mat skills to gain top position.
But I truly expect rousey to get the takedowns. She is just too big for sara.

Sara may not have a lot of big name trainers that she has worked with for years; but the crew she trains with at Revolution is very capable. Cody Freeland has good hands and is a good standup trainer, Jimmy Fowler is very good at submissions/defense and She trains with the Limestone wrestling team regularly. I have never seen a fighter from their camp approach a fight with a bad gameplan. I look at it like this- she and her camp have known this fight was coming for years and they know what they are up against. Will she win? I hope so, but I don't know. But I think that the people who are writing her off are making a mistake
it's weird in comparing them, and see how many similarities they have.... same reach, Olympic level grappling, MMA experience is almost the same....
McMann has more experience in longer fights, but Ronda has her absurd finish rate.
