Unless you hit the spinal cord or brain box thereâs still time for someone to fuck you up; especially if they know theyâre already dead. This is why people are taught to hit the T-box in the head or high center chest.

Yeah, obvious those are the bingo shots, I just thought a sucking chest wound/collapsed lung would have hindered his ability to scream and heâd be gasping for air, flopping on the floor like a fish. Same with a liver shot, when a solid punch or kick drops a fighter, a bullet punching through it would take the wind out of a guy.

Some people mention shooting in the leg or arm. IEâŚWhy did they shoot him in the chest, shouldâve just shot his hand holding the gun, shot him in the arm, or shot him in the leg. RE: Those are all small targets and most likely compounded by the fact those limbs are in motion and shooting under stress. Youâre responsible for every round so if youâre trying to shoot a limb while moving and miss â that is on you. Where did that bullet go and what did it eventually hit and in some cases, who did it hit?
People think the leg is safe but you can also hit a major artery and still cause death. There are those that advocate shooting the hip line when a bag guy is moving towards you and your previously shots did not stop them, as can be seen in the picture of the VTAC target I previously posted. RE: Hitting the hip line slows them down and can destroy their hips. They still provide a wider target than an individual limb.

There was a S.E.A.L. who was shot 27 times (16 hitting him and 11 in his body armor) in combat. Unfortunately he recently committed suicide.
Miraculously, Day survived after sixteen bullets penetrated his abdomen, arms, legs, groin and buttocks. Eleven other bullets were stopped by his armor.
According to his Silver Star citation, Day was the first of his team to enter the room where enemy insurgents were located and engaged in heavy automatic weapons fire.
âDespite multiple gunshot wounds, he continued to engage the enemy, transitioning to his pistol after the loss of his primary weapon, eliminating three enemy personnel without injury to the women and children in close proximity to the enemy personnel,â the Silver Star citation says.
âAdditionally, his decisive leadership and mental clarity in the face of his injuries ensured the success of the mission which resulted in the destruction of four enemy personnel and the recovery of sensitive United States military equipment and valuable intelligence concerning enemy activity in the area,â the citation says.

Thereâs about 20 seconds between the time the first shots are fired and the video ends. If youâre hit in the torso, you usually donât start immediately gushing blood, it takes a little while.

There was a video many years ago of a guy fighting with the police. They shot the guy multiple times & he kept fighting.
Finally one of the cops shoots him again in the chest, center mass. The guy says âoh, that was a good oneâ.
So he eventually stopped fighting. He was definitely on something. Donât remember if he died.
