Cormier: Velasquez would beat up Jones

<p>Earlier this week Jon Jones discussed potential super fights and said he would be more much interested in a super fight with heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez rather than middleweight champion Chris Weidman. However training partner of Velasquez, Daniel Cormier believes that would be a bad idea:</p>
"If he (Jones) wants to go up to heavyweight, then he can go up there and get beat up by Cain. That's the only thing that's going to happen. There will never be a two belt type of thing because I don't think any of these guys will beat Velasquez."
ISawSilva'sBONEr - Cains strategy of beating guys up against the fence wouldn't work against jones.
Fight would be close imo. Y'all just a bunch of jones haters.

Nah not saying jones would win at all. Just saying Cain would be favourite and rightfully so but I wouldn't discount a HW jones who would come into that fight bigger than Cain.
Can't wait for jones to move up. I reckon he beats anyone at HW except Cain.
Cain beats jones. He cant handle cains pace. He will try his distance game and cain will just run him down until he gets the takedown or makes it into a gritty up close fight.
Wow! Can't believe DC thinks his teammate would beat Jones. After all Jones has said about him I am shocked DC would say that.
Lol at all the people who are so sure Jones would lose to Cain. You guys have no fucking clue what Jones would be like at HW. If Jones can maintain the same athleticism and cardio weighing in at 240 lbs, he would be a nightmare for anyone at HW.
