Like every fighter on the UFC roster, Costa is subject to random pre- and post-fight drug testing at any hour of any day and I think most fans support that rule, which has gone a long way in combating the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). But to draw blood when a dehydrated fighter is in the final hours of a difficult weight cut is (more) bad business.

That sounds brutal. Giving blood while dehydrated makes it a lot harder and longer to get a sample. And poking someone so close to fight time doesnt sound like a good idea. They should do that further out or right after but right before should be urine or hair or something but who knows Iā€™m not an expert and am pro steroids

For the dirty fighters Usada just made it harder for the guys without the resources to take PEDs, if anything they have widened the gap and given the top guys more of an advantage.
