I've always liked Cote. Granite chin and comes to fight. Noobs probably don't even know that he stepped up and fought Tito at LHW on four days notice.

Always a fan, took some hard shots from Silva but kept trying to counter punch with him until his knee gave way.

def happy to see him back... Belcher has won me over as a fan, but at the time of the Cote/Belcher fight, I was def rooting for Cote under SYT.

I've been thinking about the poster who called Cote a B level fighter. It made me think, Cote lasted 3 rounds vs Anderson. Fight stopped due to injury. This was a fight where action was pushed and not stalled. I can put a list of guys who didn't last as long as core together and there's some really good guys in the group (A level guys):

In a land where Anderson Silva is an A level fighter, being a B level fighter isn't so bad. Always enjoyed Cote.

Hahahaha, I take it you never watched Silva vs Cote? Anderson was only on the attack for maybe a minute or two that entire fight, and just seemed to be dancing around and toying with Cote. Put the Anderson who fought those other guys in the cage with Cote, and the fight would be over in a round or two,
