Same goes for your pace.

please do!

I truly think the 1/2 is the single best run there is. If your fitness is at a solid level then it is the most enjoyable

Week 3 complete. Feeling pretty good.

Week 4 complete
No lifting next week due to travel but I’ll still get my runs in
The last run of next week is 20 minutes straight so making good progress
Getting a little tightness in right Achilles/calf so will do a little extra stretching

Well I did zero running and an excessive amount of eating and drinking. So I’ll repeat week 4 this week and get back on track

I’ve yet to do over 3 miles. My 3 miler was 27min. Good for me now. Hope to hit 25 minutes within a month.

Yeah I’m starting with the couch 2 5k and lifting on off days, rest on Sunday. Putting an emphasis in stretching afterwards too

Hoping the slow buildup will pay off when I start getting to long runs

OP = best whooty on teh OG. Do not lose them buns working out, Fannie!

that is solid for a guy your age, especially not training for a run.

You can absolutely get to 8-minute mile pace for a 5k. have you signed up for any races?
