I think Jay Heiron have Askren a lot of trouble, and imho, Jay actually won. that being so, I think Woodley would be even more successful at implementing a similar game plan.

Most likely Askren is the favorite. This is based off of the Shields fight mainly.
I don't think Ben would fight a teammate or a friend. At this point money is motivating Askren to fight and he can make money without fighting Woodley, plus the UFC is disinterested in promoting Askren or Shields.
Funky will go down as the biggest what if in MMA history, when he retires unbeaten.

Of course the Askren that destroyed and dominated guys like Douglas Lima and Andrey Koreshkov since then is vastly improved.

It takes a different level of competitive drive to make it to the top of wrestling.

Its a shame Ben got blackballed by zuffa. "Funky" is the funnest "LnP" guy in the business to watch right now. His transitions and style is exciting to me. Hes constantly moving and just outclassing opponents in every way. The "UFC dont want him cuz hes boring" or "Lay pray this and that" is such BULLSHIT. There are TONS of guys signed to the UFC right now WAY more "boring" than Ben..Clay Guida for example. A guy who just goes head-to-chest for three rounds and wet blankets somebody with no aggression, improving positions etc. THAT should be called "boring", not Askren.
