Bad actually addressed the recent surge in legend fights on his podcast with Mauro and said he'd never do it at this point in his life. His neck is super fucked up from his fighting career, too.
If Bas wanted to fight, he would've done so years ago, money doesn't really sway him, he's got a good gig..
From his most recent appearance on the JRE I think he had a bad injury that had made him lose most movement in one of his arms or something, won't be fighting again

I used to like the idea of masters or legends fights.
But it rarely works.
It is difficult to get 2 older fighters who are on the same level in their decline. So it just becomes a test of which fighter has declined the least at that point.
The idea of the old lion returning to battle for one last heroic performance is attractive. But reality is too tough an opponent.
Watching guys like Ken, Sak, etc. just keep coming back for more ruined it for me. I don't want to see Wand fight again either.
Not saying I wouldn't watch though.

Bas's body would literally fall apart in training. I did a seminar with him years back and I couldn't believe the list of injuries he had. Man it would suck to be him in the morning.
