I thought Hughes was going to defeat BJ and move up to capture being the first UFC Champ to attain 2 belts in 2 divisions. But now that BJ is the 170 champ, can he Be the 1st Champ ever to hold 2 belts in 2 weight classes?

No he cant because Randy has already held two belt in 2 divisions. Now unless you mean simultaineously. randy is also the only guy to have the same belt twice.
Didn't Jens have belts from 2 different weight classes?
