Could i pass my dog off as something

Other than a pit? Trying to move closer to my work, found a great place and I can maybe swing the financial side of it but the pet deposit jumps from 100 to 500 if its a bully breed and you need renters insurance.

I love the little guy, moving without him is not an option. Phone Post 3.0

No, you can't. I tried with my pup Zoey and no luck. She looked similar to yours. Your dog looks as pit as pit can be. I mean you might as well put that bitch in a dog show for breed standard. It ain't happening. Only reason I will never own a pit again, impossible to find a place to live with one.

Good on you for not ditching the dog!

Shit... I was worried about that, he is a pure pit but people always tell me he could pass for a boxer because of his size and build.. Fuck Phone Post 3.0

You could always try boxer. I doubt the landlord is some AKC breed identifier or some shit. Then again a complex that has a specific policy for bully breeds is probably not going to be fooled.

I can't see your pics. But I've had a couple really cool vets write me paperwork saying my clearly pure bred blue nose pitbull was a terrier mix. Phone Post 3.0

Could always try incognito... <img src=http://i.imgur.com/ZeaZNk1.jpg

Well its not a property management place, its rented out by the owner, but still.. Shit Phone Post 3.0

How'd you manage that? Phone Post 3.0

theFLYnTACO - Could always try incognito... This would work, but she told me know gorillas. I'm assuming lions are banned too.. I may have to get him a mane though lol Phone Post 3.0

No gorillas * Phone Post 3.0

Yeah, that mane is dope. I've got a blue pit, 10 months old, 75 pounds. I managed to find a place here in Santa Barbara (which is notoriously hard for this type of thing), but it was purely out of luck, and mostly because my landlord just doesn't give a fuck about anything, haha. I wish you luck, buddy! Phone Post 3.0

Ha! Great lookin dog, man! Phone Post 3.0

Thats an awesome looking pup!

Best things to try are dog argentino which could qualify as mastiff. Or you could try American bulldog or staffy Phone Post 3.0

Say he's a Presa Canario/Boxer Puppy. Phone Post 3.0

Thanks for advice guys, I told lady he was a boxer mix of some kind but I'm not sure what, she asked for pics, pics were sent. I'll keep you all updated. He is a handsome little guy and sweet as fuck, if she decided to meet him it'll be easier but we will see. I have money in hand ready to move so if she says no its her loss I guess . that little guy is my best friend and got me though a lot of shit. Love him too much to let him go.

Space, you know all that shit that I went through? That little guy right there is what got me through it. Phone Post 3.0

I think vets are usually pretty against the whole breed discrimination thing. So both times I barely got the words "so I'm moving into this apartment and...." and they knew exactly what I was looking for. One was in Broward county Florida, where they are a banned breed. Once was in Dorchester Ma, the tool landlord just wanted to make sure it wasn't a pit. Phone Post 3.0

Tell her his name is Snoopy since he's part beagle.  She'll go "how cute!!!" and let him stay...

ain't you ever seen a dog kid before?
