FCTV been doing this to me for years. Once the lock down is on, you're pretty much done.
Robobear -Him and Scott pak used to cut through my half guard like it was nothing with this pass lolthings to see people to do - Awesome I'm going to work this this week.FCTV been doing this to me for years. Once the lock down is on, you're pretty much done.
Against the twister pass, I was talking about almost this exact same thing in a different thread not too long ago.
Just cup the far hip in no-gi... I think of it as more of an octopus guard position and I try to keep my near side leg in the air like a dog peeing on a fire hydrant. That knee can make sure he doesn't step over and take my back that easily.
and with good far hip control if you can't get the back, you can put them into truck.
The lockdown doesn't 100% seal the deal in the gi, but in no-gi, you are toast.
