This has to be planned. This is the most ridiculous thing MMA has ever seen. Dueling press conferences between a fighter and an organization? This HAS to be all hype. They're trying to get everyones attention, and it's working. It just so happens this goes down while Randy is filming his big hollywood blockbuster? So conveniently we have to mention the movie all over ESPN etc. This is all hype for The Scorpion King and for a Couture vs. Nog fight... It may not be Fedor vs. Couture, but then again, who knows what Dana has up his sleeve, maybe it is. He might suprise us all and be in cahoots with M-1.
This HAS to be a set up. It just doesn't make sense. Really think about it for a minute, think about how weird and out of the ordinary this whole process has been. Think of how out of character this is for Couture and for the UFC. Remember, Dana is the mastermind behind the reality show that put UFC on the map.
Its hype for the movie and for a future Couture fight, mark my words.
Oh yea, and lets see who is sponsoring UFC when the Scorpion King comes out.. You know thats gonna be in the center of the octagon.
Shattering at its hinges, the door behind Couture bursts apart, shards and splinters scattering the ground. He growls and slowly paces the scene, cloak trailing, and disappears in a burst of fire and smoke as Randy's left eyeball, free of the socket and somehow popped, rolls between where his legs once were, leaving a trail of ooze.
In seconds, Mrs. Couture rushes to her husband and lays atop atop him, tears dripping down the thick mane of coarse hair covering his chest, coaxing the vegetable back to consciousness, waiting with baited breath for a sound. Suddenly, flying through the air is a snarling China, her sharp elbow a missile aimed at Kims unsuspecting face....
Thats the script for the next Randy Press Conference.
I was seriously asked today by a casual fan if the UFC was going more for a WWF hype system today. Good guy and fairly knowledgable too, wasn't just noob speak.... :(

Why weren't the media talking about the HRT? Sure, it was supervised by a doctor, but then again I am sure older dudes would want the same if they could afford it. So HRT (testosterone and/or HGH) is OK if you can afford it? I say bullshit to this.
good call on this- the hrt thing, randy's movie, the uncharacteristic stupidity of everyone involved, etc. this theory makes a lot of sense. it may also be complete bullshit, but it's very plausible.
