PAY THE MAN!!! The 80k show/80k win he currently receives is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what he's worth. Win or lose, he brings the action every damn time.
I'd like to see Cowboy stay with the UFC but if takes going to another organization to get pay that is commensurate with what he brings to the table, then I can't blame him. I'll tune in no matter where he goes.
i agree, but he has troubles with USADA and his where-abouts, it hurts his freedom.
if he gets the same pay at another org, he is going to jump ship

Nope
He says he isn't even entertaining testing the market, he said that the UFC is his home and he will stay
Hopefully he won't have to negotiate or settle and the UFC pays his worth, which is a lot!
I doubt he will get the money he wants when he re negotiates.with the fertitas gone and WME-IMG in charge i doubt that their priorities are to start paying fighters more. Donald cerrone is expendable i wish it was not that way hes an exciting fighter and i would rather see him stay in the ufc. But it might be better for him financially to go to bellator

the ufc always signs another deal before your last fight, so what is cowboy gunning at?

Weidman opted to not sign a new contract before the first silva fight from what I remember cause he knew he was going to win, gamble paid off well for him.
He's already stated that he won't leave the UFC...

Expendable?
Ahhh. No. The guy fights anyone , anytime, short notice, loyal .. And wins.
He is exactly what a fight organization wants!

Great post man, VU.
On top of all of this, dudes def a needle mover. They pay Conor 3m purse and Nate 2m, he's going to get a great contract.
