But great boxing is better than great mma.
Nope
shootfighterbull - Nope.
To me, great boxing and great mma are of equal value. The former just happens very infrequently. Cotto v. Mayweather is not in that category.
boxing/ mayweather is better then any mma card
go to boxingunderground then, douche

Good boxing is better than a Jon Fitch fight, every day of the week.
this still makes me laugh. SO what? why can't people like boxing for what it is, and mma for what it is? i love both and for very different reasons.
it's silly make this 'this one is better' threads

Crappy mma is fucking horrible.
Its about what each person likes.
good boxing is better than shit mma, good mma is better than shit boxing and great mma and great boxing are equal imo.
Both are great sports.

There's a lot more potential for a great fight over 12 3 minute rounds than 3 5 minute rounds and we don't see many 5 round MMA fights.

Exactly, it's hard to have epic battles in 3 or 5 rounds. MMA will never have anything like the Thrilla in Manilla, 15 rounds of combat where the guys literally push themselves to the brink of death. Hell, boxing won't ever see anything like that again.
I disagree with this but the fox fight night was great, every fight was so perfect.
Definitely showed why mma is more exciting the today's boxing.
