Creatine and Protein use

Lately I've been screwing up on my creatine and protein intake.  I've only been taking my 5mg of creatine and my Protein and L-Glutamine shakes on days I work out.  I work out 3x's a week, I also take my creatine separately from the other two.  I know this isn't good for trying to gain muscle mass, but will it help if I start taking it everyday from now on?

The way I take my creatine, I take a teaspoon of it (5mg) right after I work out. I don't mix it in any juice or anything, I just put it on my tongue and wash it down with some water. Is there a more effective way of doing it? A buddy mine told me this is the best way, but was wondering what you guys thought, and maybe you guys had some better advice for taking it?

Take the Creatine in a hot drink (such as green tea). This will improve the absorption. Should only take after excercise as this is when you have the highest potential to absorb it.

One thing to add, don't take with coffee or black tea as caffeine impedes absorption

I'm going to say no however I'm sure someone will come back with the fact there is a negligable amount in it.
