I remember when the WWE pulled the villain Zeus (Tiny Tim Lester?) from a movie with Hulk Hogan into the squared circle.
Perhaps that's the approach to get casuals to know Cyborg without more fights needed in the UFC before the matchup, present her as a super villain in a movie opposite Ronda, then have Cyborg "chase" her to the Octagon!

Queue closing sequence to movie, you see Cyborg crawling from the ashes with a menacing look on her face, "I'm coming for you Ronda!!!" (Straight break of character, full impact with audience). I love it. :)
