Some big names there. I thought Fujita and Ogawa were retired. Not very interested in what Cro Cop is doing in the C-leagues but as a fan I hope for him to get a nice win or two to put his mind at ease.

Fake wrestling seems so out of place there..

Was done last year also. Was actually pretty entertaining.
the mma/kickboxing/prowrestling cards have been going on FOREVER. The Inoke Bom-Ba-Ye shows alone have been running since 2000 and always been this way.
This is nothing new. This has been going on for ages. The MMA fights sure weren't fake when I went to the event live. Hideo Tokoro was genuinely knocked the hell out and Satoru Kitaoka was beaten to a pulp.
Read some JMMA history on Inoki's MMA/puro events. Even Puroresu is as close to the real thing as you can get. Shinichi Suzukawa turned a puro match with Mark Coleman into a genuine fight and ended up causing a big problem in Japan. Baroni, Coleman, the Hammerhouse guys, etc, were all recorded on video nearly scrapping with Suzukawa and his yakuza thugs.
