Curran Boxing Results!

Welterweights Jeffrey M. Curran (1-0-1, 1KO) and Emmanuel Hernandez (5-2-1, 1KO) met for an exciting six-round fight that resulted in a majority draw. Hernandez was the aggressor and although he won the first half of the fight with good pressure and high punch output, he punched himself out as his activity level dropped drastically in the second half.

Curran showed very good speed and accuracy. He was not able to put many combinations together early on, due to Hernandez' relentless pressure, but as the fight progressed, he was able to get some distance and increase his effectiveness. The last round of the fight made for the most exciting as the two went toe to toe in spectacular fashion. Neither fighter had much on their punches, but Curran looked much fresher and was able to get the better end of most of the exchanges. The Judges saw the fight 57-57 twice, while one judge saw it 59-55 for Curran.
