Is the current group of champions in the UFC perhaps the greatest line up in MMA history in terms of all of the consensus #1's holding belts at the exact same time (with Brock being the exception in terms of ranking)?
Lightweight - B.J. Penn
Welterweight - Georges St. Pierre
Middleweight - Anderson Silva
Lt. Heavyweight - Lyoto Machida
Heavyweight - Brock Lesnar
In other words, has there ever been a more impressive group of current champions all in their primes at the exact same time? Even Lesnar has to be respected although the rest of the current champs are undisputed #1's in their weight classes.
Is this a truly special time in MMA, a fluke, or does this happen more often than I realize?
Has there ever been a time when this thread hasnt already been created at least 10 times before?
