I contacted the site admin and he said they would be launching in less than 30 days.
They'll be making Custom Gi's based on your measurements and preferences (Color, weave, patch work) for under $200.
Also, they're doing promo's for anyone who signs up for their e-mail list and does the Facebook and Twitter thing.

gis shouldn't have an apostrophe.
The first letter in a sentence should be capitalized. So we're both idiots. :-)
Also, when referring to a word (as opposed to employing it), the word in question should be in quotations. (eg: "'Gis' shouldn't have an apostrophe"

i find myself averse to the use of capitalization. i find lower case letters to help soften the blow from my grammar nazi persona, much like ee cummings did.
interested in these gis, tho. i'm likely in your target market since i have stupid long arms. are you planning on shooting one or two out to the great gi reviewers like meerkat? i'd wanna know about the shrinkage and see some stitching up close.

I don't think Ouano tailors the Gi though. I'm fairly certain they only customize the patches, but I could be wrong. I for one am excited to get a tailored gi. I haven't found a gi that fits me right in a while. Last one was a Shoyoroll.

Ouano used to do special orders for the super huge guys, didn't know John did them for the rest of us.

Very interesting idea.
The only think I am very hesistant about (as with all my gi's) is that I like to dry my gi's on high heat.
I know the company's dont recommend it, but I like it- so I'm not sure how good a custom gi would fit me, if I cannot accurately account for the shrinkage that would occur.
