With all do respect to Ronda, and her opposition, her not fighting Cyborg is insanity.

Not quite because if you look at the first page, EVERYONE is talking about it.
Unless you were referring to her size . . .
I agree! And to think this match was going to be the very first fight Ronda had in the UFC. All Cyborg had to do was sign on the dotted line.
It's amazing a fighter can turn down a championship fight and quit the organization, and then the person she was going to fight gets the blame for ducking!

Oh you've got a source on them offering her the Honda fight and her refusing?

Where have you been for the last few years? Dana offered Cyborg a championship match against Rousey when the division was first formed. That's when all the talk started of her not being able to make the weight. The UFC offered the help of Dolce who said he could easily get her to 135 for the match. She seemed interested then suddenly backed out on the advice of her lunkhead manager Tito. Shortly afterwards she left the UFC for Invicta. This has all be discussed ad nauseum.
Cyborg was offered a one-of-a-kind contract, a deal with the UFC that would allow her to compete in Invicta while moving down to 135 prior to fighting in the UFC. All she has to do is quit with the steroids and powerlifting.... but what would she be without steroids and powerlifting? Even in a career filled with fights against blown-up 125 and 135-pound fighters, she's never shown one-punch KO power, her grappling is average and based on strength and explosiveness, and she is a true Brazilian in the excuse-making department: "Getting down to 135 would mean losing my ability to have children."
This is old, and tired. You know who Cyborg is outside of the MMA forum hardcore fanbase? Nobody. There is NOBODY outside of Sherdog and MMA.tv clammoring for her to find Ronda.

If all of Dana's public statements of offering her a championship match at 135 was a lie, don't you think Cyborg would chime in pretty fucking quick to the press and say that she was never offered anything?
- First she said she could not accept the offer and make weight because her doctor said it would kill her.
- Then she said the weight loss would prevent her from having a baby.
- Then she said she COULD make the weight and the issue was about respect (or lack thereof)
- Then Tito claimed it was a money issue.
- More recently in December she said she has given up on the idea of making 135 and will stay at 145. This is after she was going to have a 135 fight before her injury. She didn't even fucking TRY.
Ronda would rather beat cans and do movies than truly be the best female in the world. If she really wanted to end the debate she would fight at 140 -145. She did judo over 150 ffs.

Did you just accuse Rousey of fighting cans?
I was going to compare their records, and point out that outside of Coenen your gal Cyborg has a history of fighing blown-up girls from lower weight classes, including the shameful fight against Hiroko Yamanaka that was ruled a no-contest when Cyborg got busted for PEDs. However, rather than do all that typing, I'd rather ask a simple question:
Are you a fucking retard?
Cyborg does have great excuses
Just make the weight and stop whinging. The champion is at 135 so make the weight or go away
Cyborg is too ripped to be an elephant. Lion, maybe?

Zuffa cant have rousey fight cyborg at 145 because if ronda wins she's not going to defend that built which would be a big blow to invicta... which is now a big piece of fightpass.
CYborg cant cut down to 135 and even if she does it once there's no guarantee she'll be able to do it again so if Cyborg wins that screws up the 135lb division for the UFC.
What they're going to do is a catch weight. no matter who wins or loses both will be able to go back to their divisions and defend their belts.
What don't people understand? You talk like Ronda is the promoter. You should be criticising cyborg for not making the fight happen, not Ronda. T
So what, Ronda should leave the UFC and go fight her in Invicta? Lol cyborg turned down a Zuffa contract. She won't even attempt to try and diet down. I don't see why it's all up to Ronda. She's the 135lb champ and there's no 145lb division. Absolute morons the people that say Ronda is ducking.
Ronda has fought way better competition than cybirg
Whole lot of revisionist history going on in here
