Dan Hardy Fired?

Hearing rumours he’s been fired by both BT Sport and the UFC. Anyone able to confirm?

That’s bad news his commentary was better than a lot of other guys if true.

Thank god if true. His commentary is god awful, and I hate hearing him yell "stop the fight" every time somebody gets punched in the face. And he's terribly bias towards all European fighters. He won't be missed.

He definitely crossed the line getting off his booth and trying to intimidate a ref.

If true this was long due and he is lucky they are being very quiet about it.

He was very good and has incredible knowledge but also insufferable.

I liked Hardy

He’s maybe not the best at live commentary but his other stuff, studio/desk and breakdowns are great imo.

What did he do?

Yeah, that was way out of line. I generally like his commentary and liked watching him fight even though I really didn't care for his BS persona.

How gsp didn't take that arm home still baffles me.

I think Dan stepped further out of his commentating role than he should have a few times.

Sometimes you can push the limit but sometimes you step over it.

After tempers cooled off he was given a few opportunities to, maybe not apologize, but make peace with Herb but he just kept going on the attack via different media outlets.

It was very hard to watch and he should know he is at a disadvantage since the fighter that got hurt is his friend so his opinion would always be extremelly biased.

At the end of the day they all work for a company and employees must get along or somebody needs to go.

Can't be entirely hard feelings between Hardy and the UFC. Hardy has been seeking to resume his fighting career. He called out Nick Diaz just five days ago...

Dan Hardy may have lost out an ideal matchup for his return, but he has quickly moved on to somebody else that’s potentially planning a comeback.

This past month, Hardy and Matt Brown had been going back and forth on social media in hopes of setting up a fight. On Monday, MMA Fighting was first to report that Brown is set to face Dhiego Lima at the UFC’s June 19 event.

With Brown out of the picture for the time being, Hardy took to social media to challenge Nick Diaz.

Hes a decent commentator with good knowledge. He will find a new home. I wish him all the best.

That pretty stupid and useless.

LOL can't have an opinion anymore or stand up for your beliefs without hurting someone's feelers and having your career destroyed.

People are allowed to have differing opinions and have every right to voice them, as long as what they're saying doesn't endanger others.

I wish him well but am glad to not hear him scream into a microphone and talk over the better commentators.
