Dana didn't bother promoting Stipe..why?!

MagSlim -

Watch talk Stipe on the Rogan MMA episode.

Then picture the people at WME/IMG watching Stipe talk on the Rogan MMA episode.

Watch Liddell speak in any interview…he stutters and looks awkward yet he is one of the biggest draws in ppv history! Liddell knocks people out as does Miocic… What’s the difference?

Dana wants N’Gannou to win because Francis will call out Lesnar. Thats a money maker. Stipe won’t ask for or get Brock.

Should have made a training reality show with Stipe and the fire crew hanging out on shift for a rotation.

The Destroyer88 - With all the promotion in the world neither of these guys are going to be a huge star. Dana really wants Brock to come back and regain the belt.

Ngannou can be a huge star, he has the look and fighting style…

Wtf is this about Brock coming back? The guy isn’t a dedicated mma fighter, let him stay in fake rassling…why is he still a draw btw?

If Francis wins, it’s Brock-Francis and they’ll promote the fuck out of it. Dana wants Stipe to lose this one, so they can do a million seller PPV

Just look at last year’s PPV numbers. They need a name like Brock to have a fight at this point. And a fight with Brock and Ngannou would probably do good numbers. Especially considering 300k buys was the third best PPV of 2017.

Sad but true.

BS, man. You make anyone into a star with the right marketing and presentation. The UFC is just fucking clueless with marketing.

The only thing I could ever think of is Stipe’s speech impediment.

SexiestManAlive - It's rather sad too

Guy is a fireman saving lives besides fighting and becoming the HW champ. A champ that knocks people out too. The UFC has openly shown that they can’t promote shit at times.

Even when you look at certain fighters who were top draws,

Conor made himself. He promotes himself. He really doesn’t even need the UFC now but he’s under contract. He can box and even fund his own promotion if he was allowed.

Lesnar was already famous from WWE

Rousey and the entirety of WMMA owe their fame to Coker and Strikeforce, as Dana once said “women will never fight in the UFC”

The only original UFC creations not including the SEG era fighters,

Tito, Liddell, Couture, Anderson, GSP, Hughes, BJ

Because the sjw Hollywood anti white male crap . Wme is all wrapped up in that world . They hate the working class white guys .

The UFC thinks Ngannou will give them a Tyson and also with Black Panther coming up and SJW business its a progressive look to push the black dude.

Since most SJWs view UFC as basically an alt right sport it allows them to get social media cred from a new fan base potentially.

They may as well pay Stipe to take a dive and I want Stipe to win badly.

Because this is Nunes vs Rousey.

I love it when they learn this is why WWE scripts outcomes and how the unexpected can happen.

With that said?

I feel Stipe gets iced in under 3:15 of the 1st and we get a forever looped audio of Rogan screaming how scary he is.

You mean those fucks that built the country the people of color desperately want to move to?

Actually, it started before WME.

Bingo.

WME wants to tie this in with Black Panther release next month and basically have social media tell you Ngannou is from Wakanda and is the real Black Panther.

They pushed this soooo fast rather than do a build up promotionally so as to better market it so looks like they want to cash in Ngannou now and then spend 5 months pimping him for the fight week PPV.

The thing with Francis is…nobody outside of hardcore fans is seeing him run through opponent after opponent. 218 got less than 300k buys, Stipe isn’t a draw at all. How do you expect them to be huge stars if nobody is buying the ppvs? And it’s even worse for tonight because of the price increase plus Francis being on a shit card. There is no marketing that could help these guys become huge stars.

They would have had to set it up in a multi-faceted way. Both marketing and sales, which are very different.

This is perfect. Stipe frustrates with the non promotion turns his back on the establishment and the authority and finally realizes his destiny as stone cold Stipe Miocic.

Sage Northcock - Because the UFC is racist and only pushes blonde hair, blue eyed Americans..........................................................................................
He rode cains dick all the way down to mexico

Probably because Stipe post pictures of himself in a thong and looked like he was enjoying it

These guys can’t sell fights because they don’t get marketing.

Did you know Mighty Mouse is a gamer and streams on Twitch? I didn’t until recently. Why not put that shit in commercials? That’s a whole market segment that’s untapped because the UFC doesn’t fucking mention it…well, they don’t mention DJ either, so I guess they never had a chance.

They should play Stipe up like second coming of Randy. Fire fighter, blue collar working man champion who fights for the little guy. Plain spoken and hard working.

Remember, someone made the Kardashians famous. They certainly didn’t do it themselves.
