Exactly, he would milk that card for the whole year.

Looking forward to that card for sure. Unfortunately they aren't competing with the UFC on almost any level. If they were things could be a bit more interesting.

Such a sick card.

I'm excited! I'd really like to see an annual UFC vs StrikeForce/Bellator show. That'd be fucking sick! Phone Post

1/10

If they could get this as a PPV on the time schedule of the US/Western Europe this would be a viable competitor. Instead it will be on at 4 a.m. and way too fucking long for most fans - casual and hardcore. The way they are doing it doesn't seem to be economically viable business-wise, but I don't really know the specifics.

lol @ this post.. What's your point? All 3 of them are fucking exciting fighters who put it on the line.. for NYE we get Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar? Are you fucking serious? How can you even compare the two events?

You're just getting fucking sad.

Yea really! How can the #1 LW in the world fighting an undeafeated top 5 LW compare to shot K-1 fighters, UFC washouts and "legends" like Minowa Man and Sergei Kharitonov?

You're not even a fan of mma you Japanophile faggot.
I see what you did there.

I'm not sure what your point is...

Is your point that the UFC never puts on cards that are actually worth the 49.95 price of (virtual) admission, when it could easily do so?

Or is it that the UFC's 31 best fights of teh year barely overshadow a 3rd-rate foreign promotion?

Sorry, I forgot that quoting text, when you don't pay for this site (lol), fucks up the message.

The UFC does tend to spread out some of their fights but I can't complain about UFC 126

1. Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort for 185 strap that has stoppage written all over it exciting and I don't know who to root for.

2. Forrest Griffin vs Rich Franklin co-main event this has "fucken war" written all over it.

3. Jake Ellenberger vs Carlos Eduardo Rocha amazing welterweight talent here Jake has some heavy hands, is exciting and Carlos is 9-0 coming of an impressive win via kneebar against Kris McCray.

4. Ryan Bader vs Jon Jones enough said.

5. Antonio Banuelos vs Miguel Torres I'm calling fight of the night on this one former Bantamweight champ vs the always tough Antonio Banuelos. Mullet FTW.

6. Paul Kelly vs Sam Stout stand up war anyone??

7. Chad Mendes vs Michihiro Omigawa I'm super stoked for this one, one of the top Zuffa featherweights versus a top Dream/Sengoku featherweight. Even though Omigawa is Zuffa now just saying.

8. Gabe Ruediger vs Paul Taylor a good 155 scrap.

9. Demetrius Johnson vs Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto another one I'm stoked for will Kid return to his old ways?? no easy task versus Johnson "Mighty Mouse" is on a 3 fight win streak under the Zuffa banner.

10. Mike Pierce vs Kenny Robertson meh

11. Ricardo Romero vs Kyle Kingsbury, Ricardo is the guy that beat Seth Petruzelli by blocking all his strikes with his face, then tiring Seth out then submitting him. Kyle is on a 2 fight win streak should be a good fight.
