I just watched it and I just don't understand how quoting a show is worse than seeing rape on the news and deciding to declare "rape is the new missionary". I really don't fucking like DFW's decision. If i remember always sunny right, that's a direct quote. 
From the talk about Mayhem to even the talk about Shogun vs Henderson being bad if aired on FOX. It just seems like Dana is blowing to much smoke up people's asses.
After the outburst over the FOX mini-backlash, the Mayhem quote and now this, he really seems to be cracking.
Sounds like Dana is using double standards to me!

Dude, come on Dana. At the beginning of the interview, you said that you PERSONALLY call all these guys and give them a chance to explain themselves, then you say that you didn't bother to call Miguel, but you had someone else do it and then you made the decision to fire him.
I don't condone rape jokes and all that stuff, but this is just silly at best. He was quoting a tv show for one that is operating on a network FX owned by Fox, which you now have a deal with. Yet, you think he deserves to get cut for it because there isn't an explanation for what he said?
One day someone is going to get cut for joking about cows being killed to make hamburgers because Dana decided to be a vegetarian out of nowhere.

I believe it's bcs Dana got blindsided in the SI interview and didn't know exactly what the say u add in the Penn state/Griffins comment he made a quick choice and now he has to go full speed ahead to save face
I lost a lot of respect for Dana after this. Bad taste is bad taste regardless if there is a reason behind it or not. Forest makes a bad taste joke and gets off because he is white and a popular fighter. Rashad makes a WORSE bad taste joke and gets off because Dana doesn't want to deal with the NAACP and he's a popular fighter. Torres makes a bad taste joke and the brown man gets fired. Sounds like it's either favoritism or racism or both.
Oh and Forrest has a history of joking about rape. It wasn't a one off...
