“…I think that Conor went out and was having fun and got caught in the moment, and you know the dude called him into the ring, and he did it. I also saw him pounding a bottle of Proper 12. I’m sure that probably had something to do with it too, but listen, man, at the end of the day, Conor has done a lot here. He’s made a lot of money. The guy’s out having fun, and it’s all good,” said White. a BKFC Championship. McGregor and Perry had a stare-down in the ring, and the former UFC champion shared his support for BKFC. Dana White Gives An Update On Conor McGregor’s UFC Return

McGregor’s status in returning to competition seems to be in limbo. He will be going against Michael Chandler as a head coach for The Ultimate Fighter Season 31, which will premiere the first episode on ESPN on May 30. When White announced that McGregor and Chandler would be participating in The Ultimate Fighter, he revealed that they would have a fight on pay-per-view on ESPN+. However, in the interview with Fox, White shared that they haven’t yet signed a deal for the fight.

“…The show has to air. I actually saw a picture of Conor today where he actually looked leaner. Like he’s starting to cut the weight down, and we’ll see. This guy is going through a ton of sh*t with his body after breaking his shin bone, and believe me, as soon as we get it done, we’ll get it done,” said White.

Based on White’s comments and that he has yet to enter the USADA pool, it doesn’t seem like McGregor will be fighting anytime soon.
