UFC CEO Dana White will once again speak at the Republican National Convention.
This yearâs gathering takes place from July 15 through July 18 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. White is expected to take the stage on Thurs., July 18, just before ex-President and current GOP nominee Donald Trump.
Thatâs according to Wall Street Journal.
White initially spoke at the Republican National Convention ahead of Trumpâs first term in summer 2016, then returned to the podium four years later when the embattled real estate mogul ran for reelection (and lost).
UFC held a âFight Nightâ card at Fiserv Forum back in late 2018.
âI posted a video for Trump on my personal social media,â White previously told This Past Weekend. âOne of our big sponsors called and said, âTake that down.â You know what I said? Go fâk yourself. You vote for whoever you want to vote for and Iâll vote for whoever I want to vote for. Thatâs how this works. I donât even care who youâre voting for. Itâs none of my fâking business. Fâk you. Donât ever fâking call me and tell me who to vote for.â
White has remained loyal to Trump for more than 20 years, thanks largely in part to Trumpâs willingness to embrace UFC â by way of Atlantic City casinos â back in the early days of MMA when most venues wanted nothing to do with cage fighting.
President Joe Biden is the presumptive nominee for next monthâs 2024 Democratic National Convention at United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
