Dana White "I don't see Jones/Anderson near future

Per Dana at the post fight presser:

"I don't see Jon Jones Anderson Silva happening any time soon"

He said Jones is really young and Anderson is 37.  Not sure who he is protecting but sounded like he was trying to protect Jones.  They asked Jones if he would be interested in that fight but Dana answered first and Jones didn't answer at all.

dana is trying to make bones UFC's biggest star for the future on FOX.

he won't risk that by letting him fight anderson. no way in hell he would risk such a valuable marketing asset

If they fought tomorrow I think Anderson wins.
If they fight even months from now I'd go with Jones.
Anderson is only getting older and Jones is still learning a lot.

Anderson Does not win, not even 1 time out of 100.
Jones can finish the fight whenever he wants. If Jones felt threatened in the first round vs Machida he would have took him down, we was just getting experience sparring with a good striker.

11'er? I can't see from my phone Phone Post

Near future? Maybe not. Still, if they continue wiping out their divisions the way they are, it should happen before Anderson retires.

I thought Dana always goes on about putting together the fights the fans want to watch, well, this would be one of them.

they both have future opponents so the fight makes no sense.

Silva gets destroyed if they fight , bad for business imo.

Haha jones would get lit up by Anderson! Anderson is lanky as well and way more accurate with his flashy strikes, any strike actually. Phone Post

They both have rather irrelevant future fights.

Jones vs Anderson:

Anderson wins, he is GOAT, no question. Jones, for his part, is still very young and doesn't lose too much stock -- he's already almost cleaned out 205 after all.

Jones wins, he is huge superstar, and Anderson doesn't really lose too much luster -- at 37-38 years old, he took a fight in a higher weight class against an undefeated wrecking machine of a champion who is half his age.

Why? Worst that happens is he loses like everyone else Jones has ever fought.

Rashad deserves to fight Jones next if he defeats Davis. Phone Post

really though they should sacrifice Silva for a Massive superfight next level type ppv or Fox show whatever. Anderson is almost at the end of the line(I guess, it doesn't look that way though) so feed him to the lion, Jones displays a level of dominance that shocks the world, presto they have their next "Ali" and he's not yet 25 or whatever. let the world see Jones Accension to glory free on fox would be my plan.

Make this fight now or never at all. Phone Post
