In light of UFC president Dana White’s recent web tirade, Mary Buckheit of ESPN spoke with him Thursday night in an effort to gather more information regarding the episode.
Buckheit: But in attacking her you used a word that offends almost everybody.
White: Yeah, I know that now. I know there are words that you can’t use. I was talking to [one of the guys on my staff] today, who I’ve known forever, and we’ve been friends for [expletive] 10 years, and he’s gay and he told me that the f-word is the new n-word. It’s just as intolerable as the n-word. Honestly, now I know. You learn something every day.
I like Dana's tirades. I personally do not think he did anything wrong and that the media and GLAAD blew his comments (no pun intended) way out of proportion.
It sounds like he "genuinely" understands that what he said was apparently, unfortunately, very offensive to some people. His use of "expletives" in communicating that understanding was just him being him, and lends credence to the notion that he means what he is saying.
But we are going to b!tch about that too, aren't we? We have turned into a bunch of f'n pansies in this country.

Take a page out of Dana's book and grow the fuck up a little. Dana is a cool guy. He flew off the handle and said some offensive shit. Now he seems genuinely sorry and has made amends.
