Dana won't take "Liddell" $ but Cro Cop $ okay?

Maybe this has been addressed already, but is anyone else uncomfortable with the fact that Dana White made this statement about Chuck in reference to how he cares about the fighters. Then Bellator talks to Cro Cop and now he has a contract with the UFC. We all know Cro Cop never really looked good in the UFC even in the couple of wins he had. He lost by KO several times in the UFC, and did K1 before and was KO'D several times there. This is all before tough fights in pride, and getting knocked out by Kevin Randleman.

I just feel like it's very hypocritical, and we're going to see Mirco in very bad shape in just a few years. I know the HW division lacks depth, but apparently his name alone makes it okay to put him back out there. I hope he does Well, but I have serious serious doubts. What do you think? Has he adjusted his style to being older and slower? Am I not giving him enough credit for that? Do you think he has a chance to get at least 1 win if he fights say 3?

When bellators a factor they can't afford to let popular talent go to bellator Phone Post 3.0

mrichter - Fuck that, more like he has no problem taking Minotauro $$$

Any promoter/doctor/commision that would pass him and allow him to fight should be canned in Singapore Phone Post 3.0

Are the canneries in singapore better than the US? We sell A LOT of canned products, so Im not sure that's accurate.

Never trust the "White" man.

Guess I don't know what a 15er is but it's probably cunty like a lot of shit on here. I just don't understand why bellator grabbing cro cop is a big deal. There are better former UFC heavyweights that were let go that signed there. I know Cro Cop is a legend, but there are so many new fans to the sport who don't know who Josh Barnett is. (Along with many many others of that generation of mma.)

The Noguiera point is very true. I think someone said on a podcast he has to do an hour routine before he can train. He looked worse than he used to, of course, but also looked capable of winning until the Roy Nelson fight. He looked off balance and awkward like Ali did against Holmes. The way he got put down too was sad, and to me should be the end.
Dana White is a business man at the end of the day, but I don't see it looking good for the sport in the long term with guys like this still waiting around to fight in the UFC again and take further damage.

Okay i see well anyways...

Well this thread died quickly. I guess you have to post a ton before anyone will want to comment? I think this is a good topic to address many fighters that the UFC has or is using the "dirty" money that White said he wanted no part of referring to Chuck.
Shogun should never fight again, Koscheck, big nog, little nog, and Cro Cop. Those are just who popped into my mind, but I guess since I'm a "15er" no ones going to discuss anything seriously about the topic. My bad, I must not know anything because I haven't been a member long enough.

15er or not, it's a valid point. Dana said he cares about the fighters well being but how many times has Cro cop been ko'd? Some of them were pretty heavy knock outs too. At least with chuck he was winning or at least competing up till he got caught in all of his run of knock out losses. IMO it's a case of chuck being the most recognizable face In the ufc, and being knocked out so often looked bad for market value. When chuck fought, mainstream media took notice, the same can't be said for mirko. Plus Danas didn't want to see his friend get ko'd anymore, nothing to do with fighters in general. Phone Post 3.0
