So youre implying that De La Riva wont give his techniques away to anyone, but for a small 50 dollar free, your other buddy will give it away at a seminar?

BTW, this sweep is phenomenal... Ive been using, when opponent is on their knees. Brief description:


1. Im using spider gaurd. Opponent sits on his foot, but his other right knee is up. I grab the back of his right ankle, with my left hand. Thats the key...Grab it and pull it in towards your ass (left butt cheek), and HOLD THE ANKLE, to prevent him from throwing his knee out.


2. My right hand continues to hold the sleeve of my opponents, left hand (held it through the spider)


3. Then snake your left leg, through his right knee (while holding right ankle, and behind the right knee), and snake it all the way through, so your left ankle is now past the left side of your opponnets hip (all the way through).


4. Now, roll to your right side, while holding opponents left sleeve, and you will notice him start to almost fall forward...


5. At this point, while hes falling forward, kick out his left leg, at his knee (hes sitting on it), with your right leg, and pull his left sleeve, hard towards you, as you are kicking the leg out.


6, He will fall forward, and the sweep is done, but you should come up, by sliding your left leg, knee down to the mat, and come up through side mount.



Remember, while your snaking your foot through, the opponent's defense is to basicly throw his knee outwards, and he can pass or get to half gaurd like that....so thats why you need to really hold his ankle with your free hand to prevent it....
