Deadliest football Rivalries?

What are the deadliest rivalries in football?

The most heated rivalries are always when there is an underlying political or religious element to the football clubs.

Zagreb and Belgrade for instance, who had previously been fighting each other in a civil war.

Rangers and Celtic, fuelled by sectarianism and the political conflict in Northern Ireland. Celtic fans sing songs glorifying the IRA and Rangers fans sing about Bobby Sands dying from hunger strike.

England-Argentina, England-German, Scotland-england...

What others?

Lazio vs Roma is a particularly hate filled derby. Again mainly due to politics.

River Plate vs Boca Juniors

Man Utd vs Liverpool

Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce

I've always read that Millwall and WestHam hated eachother passionately.

Not sure that is a current one though as Millwall is horrible now.

Argentina v. Brazil, Mexico v. USA, Barca v. Real Madrid

"River Plate vs Boca Juniors"

Very true...I would add Racing-Independiente.

Penarol v. Nacional

Celtic v Rangers

Partizan Football Club Belgrade vs. Red Star Belgrade

Man U vs Liverpool?

America-Pumas

Corinthians X Palmeiras

biggest (and worst) of them all... few deaths every other time they meet
