This is not a rant, but I'm sure it will be close:

spiketv.com has to be the absolute worst profesional website in existance today. Even on a broadband connection it has loading time, I do not know of any other website where I run into this problem. Secondly, a video is constantly playing. I hit "pause" to try to stop it, only to have it start playing a new video, this sometimes lasts for 5 or 6 videos. It somehow manages to crash firefox when playing some videos for the ultimate fighter. I have NEVER had firefox crash on ANY website other than spiketv.com in the couple years I have been using it. Finally, navigation is poor and showtimes are not clearly marked which time zone they are in (eventually I found in small text in the lower lefthand corner it said eastern, with no option to change to central or mountain).

There is no excuse for a website that bad. If anyone agrees, please mention your ideas or TTT this thread so that they will maybe pay attention. Oh, and for what its worth, I tried to use the feedback on their page... it was broken too.

Yes it does suck. It's just not worth going to.

agreed. garbage, reminds me of UFC's old piece of trash website, maybe they shop at the same dollar store!

I started a similar thread a couple weeks ago when I went to the site the day they announced all the fighters. It's a miserable website - really long loading time, hard to navigate, the video problem you described, etc.

Also, it's apparently not Mac compatible:

The Mac thing makes sense actually. Other than that it just sucks. Macs are going to be running Windows now anyway.

I agree 100%. If you have anything less then a brand new high speed computer, you will run into problems. Theres too much shit on it. Sometimes its better to be simpler. Maybe in a couple years when consumers have caught up with technology, we will be able to better use sites like this.

That site smells like ASS. What time are the events on anayways? are those times pacific, eastern?
