Decent San Quentin documentary worth watching

Louis Theroux in San Quentin. I know this subject has been done to death, but I thought it was a good watch. He's got a very awkward way of interviewing the inmates that seems to work and build tension without the "Lock Up" cheesiness. Phone Post 3.0

County jail in Miami.

Almost think I'd rather be in San Quentin. Phone Post 3.0

Cool, thanks

Yeah, San Quentin is very soft these days. 30 years ago, it was extremely violent and pure hell...

Don't get me wrong - it still looked like terrible place.

That county jail in Miami is fucked up though. A dozen guys in a cell and it seems like the CO's just don't have any control at all. They just admit the guys are in there doing whatever they want and weak guys are going to suffer. Phone Post 3.0

Love me some Louis Theroux. He always gets the best interviews.

The real estate San Quentin sits on, holy shit. It's right on the bay. Marin County, Across from Tiburon. Tear that shit down and sell it, California could probably get 100 mill for the land. Phone Post 3.0
